Rear bumper tuck/removal
For those of you who have muffler deletes, aftermarket exhaust, or otherwise removed your bathtub rear muffler, have you removed the lower center section of the lowest part of the bumper (see circled red area in attached picture)? This part catches a lot of wind without the bathtub muffler and in turn creates lift at speed. I'm also looking to either purchase a functional diffuser to put in that space or create my own (the more likely course of action). So far I've only been able to find "diffusers" that work with the standard muffler and are not anywhere near functional.
Thanks in advance for any assistance. |

I appreciate the suggesting but it's not a cosmetics question which that section is more geared towards. This section is titled suspension, brakes, and chassis; chassis being which this aerodynamics question falls under.
