It's hard to remember exactly, but I'd say maybe a 1000 miles or so before I had the latest procedure done. But mind you it started off very mild, and then got worse. Had 7,000 when it was done, and now I'm at 28,000. So far so good

I doubt it, but the percentage is insanely high. Enough where I wouldn't take the risk even if I didn't currently have the shudder. Even if the torque converter needs replacing you're under warranty, so no biggy. At least there will be no question if the torque converter was damaged or not since it will be brand new

Yep I totally get it. Hopefully this is the true fix, and not something that's gonna happen way down the road again. Time will tell

Good to hear brother, I'm from Europe originally but now strongly prefer American V8 muscle.

HCI2000SS has given you all the info already, the TSB is not linked to any proof or test drives, you can simply tell the dealership to perform it because you have the shudder concern. Here's to hoping they will do a good job (For the record, I had this flush procedure done preemptively on mine, and the trans is better than ever. I actually never really had issues worth mentioning with this 8L90, although Ted Jannetty's tune definitely helped perfect it as well.)

I agree with prior comments that you should get the latest fluid flush. The RPM fluctuation is a early symptom of the issue.
