A cool thing happened today on the way home from work. I was driving home from my job in downtown San Antonio and turned right from FM 1518 northbound onto FM 78, just east of Randolph AFB. As I made the turn, I noticed Legend's awesome Camaro stopped at the light, facing eastbound on FM 78. Since I had the green light, I ended up about a quarter-mile ahead of him and was driving as slowly as I dared in rush-hour traffic to let him catch up--but no go.

So when I got to my next turn (a left at FM 3009), I drove down about a mile and did a U-turn. I knew Deron would be coming the same way, so I waited until I saw him and then did another u-ey. As I saw him accelerating to catch up with me, I noticed a brand-new CGM SS right next to him (paper tags and all, with Gunn Chevrolet license plate frame)!

So there we were, three of us cruising up FM 3009, waving at each other and all of us sporting a PERMAGRIN!

The driver of the CGM was a lady. Traffic was too heavy to stop and pass on a Camaro5 card, but I'll keep an eye out for her again, as I saw where she turned off.

A very cool way to cap off a long day at work!

Man I wish everyone here in Victoria was as cool as you guys. I am always waiving and trying to cruise with all the fifth gens here and they act like they are to good to waive back or act like I'm trying to race. I really want to get back up there to hang out. We had so much fun the couple of times I made it up there. It just seems there is alot more adoration for the car there in SA and not so much stuck up behavior. I need to take a weekend off and head that way.

Good to catch up with you Pete!! I was trying to get her attention while I was driving down FM78 but lots of traffic!

Finally got in front of the CGM Camaro and when we turned onto FM 3009...I saw you do the U-turn...we had a nice road block and she couldn't go anywhere! Good to chat with you at the red light!! LOL!

We'll figure out where the Camaro parks...time is all I have!

Cool story, seems like all the 5th gens I see are always going in the opposite direction, But I always try to wave and flash my lights if I see them in time...

I saw the new CGM car on 3009 the other day. I always seem to see Pete driving around. We need to have a 3009 rally at Pizza Hut for a beer one night.

It was good talking to you too...wish you could see how your car looks from outside while driving...(awesome!). Yep...we'll track that CGM down eventually...
