FYI - RacingBrake makes them with aluminum hats and steel insert for the e-brake vs. having just the aluminum for the drum-in-hat e-brake shoes. They have them in J6M / 340mm SS 1LE (PN 2505), J6H / 365mm ZL1 (PN 2140), and J57 / 390mm Z28 size (but steel ring) (PN 2382).

Not cheap. Way (way) more than the dirt cheap stock one-piece rotors in either J6M or J6H flavor.

If they can use stock hats would be awesome as well.

Not on Z28’s. Both 5th, 6th, and C7 use the same diameter rear rotor, I scored a set of Z28 rear hats that Im going to use.

I was talking Gen 6. Currently, I have RacingBrake two piece 390mm steel rears on my car. The Z28 CCB rears, like the C6 / C7 CCB J57 rears, have all steel rear hats. You can buy just the aluminum hats (with steel brake wear inserts) from RacingBrake. I bought a pair to use on rear Z28 CCB rotors for another project. The Vette hats are for M12 studs. FYI - the C6 J57 CCB rear rotor is only 380mm. The C7 is 390mm rear for CCB. The pads on C6 J57 are cut down.

Here’s the C6 J57 rear pad for the 380mm rotor. PN 171-1009 Delco. You can see how it’s cut down.

The Z28 rear hats are stainless and I’m just interested in thee rotor itself.

Hi Nick

We are imploring Girodisc to get these made. It's not super hard to do - they are just slammed so getting the first set made is a challenge.

It's on my list.

Pardon the username - still talking to the forum owner.
