Misfires (LT4)
I am logging misfires on #2 cylinder. I swapped plug, lead, and coil with no improvement. Does anyone have any other suggestions?
Thanks |

I replied on your HP Tuners post as well, but could be false knock. Now that I think about it some more, a bad injector is a possibility too.

Show a log, I troubleshot mine down to a bad injector.
I went down the troubleshooting path of: plug wire, coil, coil wiring, plug, valvetrain, and wound up being a bad injector. https://www.camaro6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=594556

I did not have any KR with my issue, mine was under a little load 2-4k rpm

Pull a few degrees of timing out of cylinder 2 in the static table, see what the results are.

Yes if its knocking on that cylinder pull a few degrees out and then log again. These engines sometimes need static adjustments per cylinder. Not saying that's the problem but see what the result is.

9/10 its the injector unless something mechanical is wrong with that cylinder.
