Look for single exhaust. It sticks out like a sore thumb. only v8's have dual exhaust.

Yeah, but a lot of people don't think to look for that. The only big thing that sticks out from the front of the new Stang is that the foglights are a lot smaller with the Pony package than a GT...

The sad part is, you have to look for something to differenciate the two...Cause (and there are TONS of Stangs around me), the V6, and V8 sound just about the same to me! We should be able to hear a difference! The previous-gen GT Stangs sounded nice. But the new ones do not IMHO.

Kenz was saying that Foose was with the design team out in Cali when they were showing the vert. He's got a pic posted where Foose is actually talking to them about the gas cap location. Maybe they are just trying to find a common place between the coupe and vert where the cap can be made w/out having to stamp out seperate quarter panels, or something. I'd imagine it would have to be moved out a little further, but wouldn't mean it would HAVE TO be moved to the side. That would be very dissapointing. |

Had a horrible thought (shudder). I don't see GM doing some thing stupid like this, but what if they put a dummy filler cap on top like on the concept, but put the actual fuel location on the side? Personally, I hope they keep it on top, it just wouldn't look right in any other location, just have to keep a rag handy for drips when filling up.

You know, Though I like where it is now, What a throwback would it be if the gas cap was moved to the back of the car...I could really like that.
The Mustang has a fake rear gas-cap, and then the real body-color one on the side. another one-up... |

I'm hoping they keep the halo lights, I noticed the concept from transformers had completely different lights and from the looks of it I think the concept also has 8000k HID lights. The would be awesome if they kept those.

same here, it changed the look totally in transormers with normal headlights. It looks so much better with the concept headlights.
