Its hard in any scenario to take cars like these and think you can go 20K on a set of any tire or type. Most if not all manuf halve the mileage warranty in a staggered setup, too.

If money is no object go with a square setup that you can rotate, I say money because that's probably a new set of wheels with an width and offset that you can place F/R without a spacer.

Adding that checking the alignment is crucial, too. I wore my front's off sooner than expected because the toe was way out of spec on a brand new car.

Firehawk Indy 500 is what you want.

That's what I'm leaning towards. Just want to make sure they last longer than 2 seasons.

That's the thing...no one call tell you that. I've run that tire on my Mustang but didn't have it long enough to judge the tread wear but I liked everything else...rain was good, traction was good, smooth ride, etc etc How long it will wear is hard to dp the crystal ball on that. it has a good treadwear rating but that's just in a vacuum.

Those tires should easily last more than 2 seasons. I've gotten 2.5 seasons seasons out of my OE 1LE tires which consisted of 12k miles and a decent number of track days. Would think the Indy 500s could easily last twice that long (at least in terms of mileage) if you're not tracking on them, and probably more.

I also had them on a WRX for 3 years, around 20k miles, as a DD and they still had 60-70% of their tread left when I sold it. I'd been driving it like you described in your first post, although it's quite a bit lighter than a Camaro. I was happy with them overall, could do 90% of what a PSS or could do for significantly less cost. Will probably go after them again for the Camaro on the street once I get to a dedicated street/track wheel setup.

As others have mentioned, the alignment is all over the place on these cars from the factory. IMO it's worth the $100 or so to get it checked and corrected when you're going for tire longevity.
