So I've heard rumors about reworking/detailing at Saleen, if my car is at 4B00, is it still possible that it's not quite done? Or is it just waiting for a carrier while in the Saleen parking lot?

My guess is waiting for a carrier. After 4300 it has to go to 4B00 before going to 4200, again. And this qc has been more problematical than an I have seen before, and that includes both the Gen5 and C7 launches.

You still have a lower VIN number. WGAS?

If your car comes in wrong, then you can beech about it.

If it doesn't, then IDGAF.

This sounds exactly like the ZL1 builds. Things go snafu early on, they figure it out and fix it on the line, and ship out non-fugged-up units and hold, identify, verify, then fix, then re-QA the cars suspected to be hosed, so they DON'T COME BACK for that issue. Sure, it pisses people off, but they'll get it right and get you your car. It's not a friggin' Big Mac. There's much more in logistics to deal with.

They'd love to get you the cars as soon as possible, but they also don't need to hear the whiny little azzholes that start deriding GM quality control that would be sure to happen if the owners had to bring the car back to fix whatever it was.
