2017 2LT V6 w/ RS and NPP vs 2019 1LT V6 loaner

My 2017 2LT RS V6 with NPP exhaust had a check engine light come on. I took it to the dealership and they let me borrow a 2019 1LT V6 (non-RS and without the NPP.) I thought this was a sweat deal, the best loaner I've ever gotten before was a Malibu.

I know there some obvious difference between the two since they are in completely different trim levels so I'll leave out the difference that can be found on the 2LT/3LT trim level.

First thing I immediately noticed is that the '19 rides A LOT smoother than my '17. Can someone clarify if this is ONLY due to the 18in nitrogen filled tires in the '19 vs the 20in in the '17? Or is there some difference in the suspension? Does the 2019 V6 with the RS ride like the 2016-18 V6 with RS, or are are they all as soft like the loaner I have? If it's just tires, I'll have to get some 18in nitrogen filled for my long road trips because the difference between the two is night and day!

Second thing I noticed is that the gas pedal in the 2019 travels a bit deeper. In other words, you can press down on it further and it responds. I haven't paid attention if the throttle lag that's evident in my '17 is on this loaner as well. I'll have to test that out later.

3rd, when you put your foot on the gas and let the mphs climb the '19 starts to "wobble" at higher speed. That's the best I can describe this sensation is that you can feel a very gentle side to side movement (like when crosswinds hits) instead of continuing straight like on my '17.

I'll add more to my observation as I I spend more time with it.

Also, the color of the '19 is Crush and it's a pretty nice color.

18" wheels with a larger sidewall tire are going to ride more smoothly than the low-profile 20"ers, which is what I'm assuming is on your RS.

Air is mostly nitrogen anyway so that isn’t it

18" non runflats will definitely ride better.

Everyone is correct. The RS 20s cause the ride difference. Have driven both 2016 models with 20s and without. Seriously doubt the 19 1LT has mag ride.

I've had both 18's and 20's on my 2018 1LT V6. I would say the 18's rode a tad better, but it was only a slight difference

Oh and the loaner has cloths seats vs the leather in my RS which I guess could also contribute to feeling smoother.

Update:
A week later and I still have this loaner.
First thing, I did some research and everyone above, including my assumption is correct. This loaner rides smoother because of the thicker tires. But it's an appearance sacrifice since the 20in run flats with its rims look alot better.

Second, NPP exhaust is a must unless you don't care about exhaust warranty and want to go with an aftermarket. For me, I have kept everything stock because I don't plan on keeping this car. It will be a trade in right near bumper to bumper warranty expiration next year. But for the moment, the NPP exhaust definitely sounds alot better than stock non-NPP.

Third, throttle pedal lag is there but rarely. I've only experienced it once on the 2019 when trying to do a 0-60mph. The best 0-60 I got on it was 5.3 second but I averaged 5.4.

Gas consumption is a tiny bit better on the 2019 based on similar and usual driving to and from work and casual errand runs. Filling the gas tank up on the 2019 gave me a bit over 400 miles before empty whereas the 2017 gives me around 370-380 on average. (I doubt they have different tank size). Both on 87 gas.
