New Member from Sacramento interested in V6 1LE

Hello everyone. I’ve owned a 1996 mustang cobra in the past and currently have a 2003 Mustang Mach1. I’m trying to sell my Mach and buy a 2017-2019 V6 1LE. This will mainly be a weekend car and road coarse car 4-6 times a year. It could potentially be my daily driver in the future. The V6 1LE gets great reviews and the price point of this car is like no other.
I joined this forum to find out if there’s anything I should be looking out for if I end up buying it new or used. How much off MSRP can I get one for? How much is the extended warranty? Thank you!!

truly, if this is a just a weekend and track car, you would be much better satisfied getting a V8 1LE.

oh and btw.....Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5/6. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wives', husbands, girlfriends and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome!!

Welcome to the Camaro 5 forums. Honestly if you are used to the raw power of the 4V V8 in your 2003 Mach 1 (rare car) you will be more happy in the long run with purchasing a 2017-2019 Camaro SS V8 1LE a specially for an occasional vehicle to drive at the track! Do you have any plans for this vehicle you plan on purchasing? Try selling your rare 2003 Mach 1 here you should have great luck selling it www.ebaymotors.com www.autotrader.com www.cars.com

Thanks for the feedback guys! V8 1LE would be awesome but my budget won't allow it. I'm trying to spend 20k-22k on a used V6 1LE or around 25k-27k on a brand new one.
Also, the V8 1LE would be an overkill for me at the track since all of my friends have either S2000's or 350Z's. The whole track experience is way better when you're battling against your own buddies!

Consider purchasing a 2018 or 2019 Nissan 370Z they are very nice if you are considering buying a V6 or I would purchase a used 2017-2019 Camaro SS V8 1LE if you can not afford a brand new one. Here is a pic a our Nissan 370Z we love this car honestly.

Hey bro I'm also in Sacramento. John L. sullivan in Roseville gave me a good deal on my SS 1ss. If you are trying to step into the Chevrolet/GM realm esp. For a track purposed car IMO you won't be happy with a v6. 1Le equipped or not there's just something about taming a single cam pushrod v8 through a road course. I would suggest a 99 FRC corvette or even 01-04 Z06, pontiac GTO, 5th gen camaro 1LE, 4th gen camaro ss/ws6 bird with tubular suspension UMR makes good stuff along with trans braces/diff braces. 6th gen SS is a great daily and trackable car. Goodluck with your search
