mjk3888: Lots of ring rentals available - and nearly as much fun. I used to rent a prepped Suzuki Swift with 107 HP...tons of fun at $80 a lap.

Fortunately, I've got a few years to attempt a good lap...it can also be addictive/expensive!

Camaro seemed to shrug it off with no issue - I like it!
Tim. I sent you a PM, please check it out

That was awesome! Big improvement 1st to 2nd time, but you had some experience and the track was dry. Really like your downshifts and pushing it right up to the rev limiter, but is it really needed with the LT1. I know the LT4 starts to fall off well below the redline. Anyway, jealous and that was a lot of fun.

Should be pretty epic, and I'll definitely be hitting other fairly local tracks as well as possibly some longer trips to some other European tracks for sure.
What base/area are you moving to?

gotroost: This car dyno charts are quite a flat top end drop off (~peaks at 5800). There may be gains from 'short' shifting-I don't know.

I do know I enjoy the rpms/music and simply use the entire rev range - got my hands full finding a line on the track as it is! ;-)

Aragorn: Thanks!

Sweet. I'm up at Spangdahlem. There's another 6th Gen 1LE on base, in addition to mine.
