First time tracking my car

Tracked my car for the first time at Laguna Seca and it was a blast. I am definitely hooked haha. Hoping to see some of you guys out there next time I go. Going to start doing some research on how to better my lines. Here's some pics taken at the track.

I have fun just racing at Laguna on the Playstation! Can't imagine the thrill of coming up to the corkscrew and dropping in for real. Enjoy. Great pics!

You forgot to type the second part ...... Welcome to the addiction, .... get ready to open up your wallet.
Smiles / dollar spend ratio is high though and it is well worth it.

Dorsodurojohn you need go out and try it! It's so much fun lol. In the beginning sessions I wasn't really trying. I was just trying to learn how to drive my car so the civic probably did not much better than me in the beginning, even passed me up when I let him. My last session was my fastest session.

That1guy_tim thanks for the advice will definitely look into that.

Corbu definitely expensive to run this car at the track. Wear items are pretty expensive, but it is such a blast and worth it imo.

Wilbur_xmas good to see out there as well. Do you track often? Also whats the plastic you have on your front bumper? I need to do that for the next time. I got tire marks on my front bumper lol.

I just started tracking in Oct 2020 and Sunday at Laguna was my 5th day on the track. I threw some ArmorDillo track tape on the front for the weekend since I had time because our sessions were so late in the day, but have skipped it at other tracks since it's kinda annoying to apply and ugly. You can grab it from Amazon or go with a competing product like TrackArmour. It does help with rubber marks and rock chips, but you have to windex any areas you put it on or it does not stick as well and will fly off. My windshield got peppered with dozens of rock chips at Laguna that weekend since there were so many cars on track and so many people dropping two wheels so I'm glad I ran the tape.

Thanks for sharing the pics, you are both getting my motivated for a return to Laguna Seca. I'll be there in July with my V6 1LE at the Speed Ventures event.

I'm in San Diego and haven't run that track since '04. It was a rainy January day and I had so much fun in my Evo.

You'll be fine on the 105db days, that's what I did in my V6 1LE and it looks like Roostie is also going on a 105db limit day. I requested a sound check when I was there a week ago and the stock V6 NPP in track mode clocked in at 96.0 db. The SS NPP is louder, but still under the limit.
