ELSD question

When I display the ELSD app on the DIC it always displays 30% on the right side is that normal any one else notice? I looked in the manual and it didnt go into detail about what the readout should say...unless I missed it. I know it did state that it varies depending on the driving parameters you set.

If it's anything like the one in the Corvette, it's really pointless. Suppose to tell how much slip is occurring.

My best guess is that 30% is the 'neutral' or default slip amount. When it needs to lock up more, the number will go up. Thing is, you probably aren't very interested in looking at the eLSD display on the DIC when it does because you're focusing your attention on driving at that time.

0-30% is the range of authority in the eLSD.

Kind of like the -15-15 PSI range on the boost gauge.

You'll also notice when the l/r wheels are 'slipping' the gauge goes: green, yellow, red.

Probably the other way. 0% slip is the default and 30% is the max. Slipping is not something you want as that's what causes heat just like "slipping" the clutch.
