That car is in a yard by me in Davison Michigan. It's a mess!

Very sad as I see the driver did not survive. By the looks of the car it looks like it was going faster than 80mph. Maybe that this what the tach and speedo dropped to when the control systems lost power?

So sad for him and his family. RIP. Be safe out there, peeps. Leave the fast driving to the track.

Never saw a car peeled in half quite like that. The way the passenger side door and roof section are seemingly still together yet facing the wrong direction. It's like someone cut it with a circular saw and turned it around. Incredible force.

It was terrible that the person got killed but at least no other person/persons were killed in the accident due to his drunk driving. It would have been real bad if multiple vehicles would have been involved.

The fire department/medics most likely used the jaws of life to peel the car apart so they could get him out, then the pieces were just thrown/dumped down on the ground there at the junk yard in random fashion. Jaws of life have 10,000 psi cutting and spreading strength. They can peel a Mack truck into pieces in seconds. |

This is really tragic, so ugly.
But to hold another responsible/liable is just not right either. What a cop out. Whatever happen to personal responsibility? My heart goes out to those who lost their loved ones. |
