Water problem after washing, anyone else?

I have had my 2SS since March, and every time I wash the car, I get water coming out from the spoiler. The last time I washed it, 1 WEEK AGO I took 10 minutes and blew all excess water out with air. It has been very hot in Canada, and this just appeared today. Again, this is after 1 week. Is water sitting somewhere inside (maybe where the spoiler mounts to the trunk)? Besides how it looks, this can't be good for the car if it is holding water in after 1 week, and temps that should have caused any water to evaporate. Any thoughts or help would be appreciated.

Don't drive it right after washing it. Wash it late evening and don't drive it till the morning. That's what I do, including drying all the inner door panels and engine bay etc. Never had any water spotting doing it that way.

I try to dry the inner trunk lid after washing. I have a self serve wash by my house so i dry it there and drive home. Theres sometimes some spots but i just take a damp microfiber from dryig and get them off then let it sit

Thanks for the replies. My main concern is that any water that was there when I washed a week ago should have dried. It has been a week since it has been washed and it just appeared. I could have put some water in a glass and it would have evaporated in a week with the high temps.

after I wash and dry everything well.. I flip the lid open and let it drain the spoiler. Then I dry again the little that runs out.

I Do not know what's going on with your car but mine has never did that, and I normally do a quick walkthrough with quick detailer spray after my first drive after washing.

I think I should have the dealer take a look. i know "some" water should come out, buy not after a week.

After you wash it, dry with an electric leaf blower to try to get the water out of all the crevices and such, open the trunk as some more water will come out of there. Then go for a drive. When you get back hit all those spots where water ran down with some rinseless spray or quick detailer. Should have all the water out by then. If you still have water come out a week later after that, then maybe consider going to a dealer

I have the same issue too. I literally washed my car on a Sunday night and didn't drive it for a few days. I just let it sit in the garage with the trunk open. Must have been in the mid 80s in my garage. Drove it 3 days later and noticed the same water spots you did. I know I have hard water where I live but you would think after a couple days any remaining water would have evaporated.

Some of that is coming from the trunk seal. If you look at it, there are holes all along it. They piss water after a wash for a while.

Also, after a full water wash, I pop the trunk and hood and dry them both. Also the door jambs. And still get some water streaks, usually from the trunk seal. I've been hitting the seal with an air gun after a wash. Gets most of the water that way.

I've had the same issue. Did a full wash and paint correction day after I brought it home on June 28th and allowed it to sit over night and the next evening drove it and water. I couldn't imagine where it was coming from but I did not open the trunk to wipe any water out as I just didn't think there would be any, thinking it would have drained itself. Haven't done anything wit it since but I will check it out.
