ZL1 1LE Street Tires - Continental Extreme Contact Sport or Michelin Pilot Sport 4S

What is everyone's thoughts on street tires? I'd like to pull my 3R's as soon as possible and save them for track days. Right now, I am considering either Continental Extreme Contact Sport or Michelin Pilot Sport 4S. The difference in price is over $400 more for the PS4S, but those are still the tires I am leaning towards.

Thought I'd see who had experience with either of them. Thanks.

The Contis have a round shoulder compared to the square shoulder Michelin.

I can't really give you a comparison, but I do have a separate set of wheels with the 4S's and they work well. I only have about 2k street miles though, so I may not be the best reference.

I went with the PS4S. They were everything I was looking for...great grip on dry or wet, no driveability issues, and they handle corners and the Street well!

My money would be on the PS4's...did enough research to know this is the tire to go with. The reviews speak for themselves both on Tire Rack and this forum.

Should I ever make it to the track I will stick with the GoodYear's 3R's and will run separate rims. Most likely will go with a 19" wheel so i can fit 325 for rear and 305 for front like the ZL1 1LE setup.

PS4's.....there's a reason they are more. You get what you pay for in this case. No question in my mind.
