My friend Pat turned 2 Auto coyotes into high 11 cars with a home made CAI, tune, and DRs. Many on here say that is not possible. But it is. Pat is now working on his third Auto Coyote. Hat trick?

i beat out a tuned+offroad x-pipe '13 GT trackpack by .35.

also, i am not having the luck with these stock runflats so im not even close to 60' where i generally do.

same driver, the 5.0 really isn't close

i gained .2-.25 from a tune and GT500 mufflers on my '14 GT. i think it mainly comes from reducing pulling timing from heat and the additional torque in the mid-range to get to help you out of the hole.

my current car still would be a few tenths quicker being that both cars are not pulling timing for any particular reason. (both cars running at 100%)

i do think it is probable that when comparing a tuned car to a stock one, there is a chance you will have your timing pulled as the car is heat soaked where the tuned car (most calibrations ive seen) are going balls to the wall.
I think you will see less of this now that its colder out but I find the tuned cars are just so much more consistant.

With an auto at one of the fastest tracks in the country.

Stock a8 6g times at that track. Many say the 6g isn't a legit stock 11 sec car... but it is... in the right setting

If they are e85 tune that resists DA changes a bit better than 93. It also reduces temps by about 15 degrees on average. Much more consistent.

From what I've seen on the 15+ 5.0 tuners are getting best gains adjusting the cam timing

E85 on these LT1's is looking to be an easy 30+ at the wheels...you will see a lot of E85 tune only LT1's in the 11's...with nothing else done.
