I cheaped out on my Fifty and just put dark film over the factory lenses. Plays real well with the NGM, in my opinion. It was actually my first “mod”. Bow ties were my second.

Ya that looks better than the factory red lights but still prefer the factory dark look. That and I also want to be able to convert the car back to completely original easily and peeling that film off can be a problem. Did it on another car once and some of the glue wouldn't come off.

I think for now I'll just spend the money on the third brake light ($100) and wait for an available used set.

Wishing you luck haha they are insanely hard to find....like insanely hard for the tails. I am keeping all my red lights just in case I need back ups. I found the third light on GM parts direct for 100 bucks...Idk why GM discontinued them if people wanted them. Stupid if you ask me.

This is what the Chevy splitter looks like that I had installed. Front fascia extension in GM speak.

I couldn't justify the price either so I also used overlay, which is actually black and not grey "smoked".

Only the dark taillight package is discontinued, the individual L/R lights seem to be available. They have to be, those legendary 2018 ZL1 1LEs are probably all still under bumper-to-bumper and need to remain serviceable.

A quick random online vendor search yielded both the left and the right one easily. Whether or not these are actually in stock at the moment is another question, but they can't be physically discontinued.

I did the same as well. I got this kit from Decal Concepts. I think it looks pretty good and sets it apart as there are a lot of dark taillights out there already. This kit was only $20, so I figured small price to pay to see how it would look.

IMO a solution like this looks way better on black cars than the OEM dark tails. Red taillights work the best against white and black paint, they provide a perfect accentuation.

Hi all, question for something I want to do:

I'm looking at the Corsa NPP system. What do those who change exhaust do with their old exhaust?

I am an apartment dweller so no garage. Is it worth keeping/selling or what? My parents might generously give me shed space but they are a few hundred miles away.

I would absolutely keep the stock exhaust. In the event that you decide you hate the Corsa at some point, or you need it for when you go to get rid of the car. I haven't changed the exhaust on my Camaro (yet ) but I always did keep the stock system when I modified my previous cars.

Most times

Most times mine goes in the trash at the shop. I traded my factory exhaust this week with a member here that wanted my stock exhaust on his 700hp Camro and i got his Borla S Type and i gave him some money. We are both happy.

That suitcase is big and bulky and hard to store, but if you're creative, it might look like a piece of furniture in your apartment

You need the build plaque for your Fuse Box to get rid of the plain box cover...
