I am hoping to take mine out this weekend, but the rain has not come down like they were calling for to help wash the roads off. It would not have been to bad if the road crews hadn't thrown more salt out on dry pavement like a couple weeks ago to try and get rid of their inventory. Mind you we have not seen snow or ice for over a month now and we have had some nice rain showers since then which cleaned things off nicely, up until two weeks ago and then it was back to square one. So between that, the sand and all the potholes, I may have to wait longer. On a brighter note though, I just ordered the ACS Composites ZL1 Aeropack today. So when it is out and ready, I have a lot of mods to install.

Spark Plugs

I installed long tube header a couple weeks ago and did plugs the same time. I couldn't find a direct replacement one step colder so I got NGK TR6. They were the right thread and heat range but the reach was a little short. I installed them anyway the it ran OK.

Today I installed the right plugs, NGK LTR6GP. Part number 90198. They are one step colder and it runs like a raped ape.

Performed my first oil and filter change after 8 months and 973 miles. There was an obvious amount of aluminum contaminants in the original oil.

How difficult is the actually wrapping process for someone who has never done it before? I’d love to get rid of the silver in the interior and yours looks great.

Wrapping is really easy. Check some videos on YouTube, especially from CK Wrap, that guy is awesome.

Just make sure that you have enough. Prepare a strip that has at least 1 inch of extra on each side and do not overstretch the wrap or it will shrink with the heat.

Good luck!

Swapped my SS spoiler for a ZL1 spoiler. Fairly easy with 10mm socket, Goo-Gone, and fishing line.
