Header and exhaust ?
We are trying to install a BBK 1-3/4" Full Length Header Systems @ Phastek Performance and a flowmaster 3" - Cat-Back Exhaust #817609 - Outlaw American outlaw, as you can see these two do not match up where you could just place a clamp and that would be the end of it. Can I just cut the pipe where it is welded on and insert the other 2.5 pipe and weld the two together. Would this affect sound and/or performance? the opening for the o2 sensor have to point slightly up correct? Any help would be greatly appreciated as we would try and install tomorrow morning.

Wouldn't you just use the stock clamps that come behind the cats for that joint?

The stock connection on the car right now works perfectly in that connection.
