Is my PTM working right?

Been playing with PTM settings on my 2014 Z28 but concerning that if I change the PTM mode the Traction Control and Stability Control lights come up, suggesting they are both OFF.

As an example:

Get in car, start up, no warning lights on dash.
Press the 3rd button 3 times and I get the PTM menu appear, but also the TC and Stability OFF lights come illuminate on the dashboard.
I can toggle through the PTM levels and select whatever I like but the TC/SC lights stay on, the only way I can make TC/SC lights go off is by pressing button 3 again but this returns the car to PTM 2.

If Im selecting different PTM modes are the TC and SC actually still on despite what the dash is telling me?
Or is this a fault, should I be able to select different PTM modes without the TC/SC lights coming on?

Car is 150hp more than standard so would be good to know where I stand with TC particularly, thinking its on when its actually off could be "entertaining" .......

Yes the lights will be on. It is best explained in the manual, as it goes over all the modes

It's not very intuitive and I had the same thought. Had to review the manual to understand this function.

Don't forget the "all off" mode. Hold down 2 buttons for about 7 seconds to turn all nannies off.

Been a while, but I believe 2 buttons on right..??

This kinda highlights what I was concerned about - "all off" looks exactly the same as anything other than PTM 2 with TC off and SC off lights on the dash.

I might be a bit old school but when a car tells me something is turned off, I tend to believe the car
Not a mistake you want to make on a wet morning with 570rwhp
