Right now the setup is just a JMS for the low side and then an AEM Watermeth system but I have the LT4 parts ready to go in.

Also the Baro breakout is a must for proper tuning.

You make a very good point .... I think if I really beat on this car the way it is I could get in the 1.4 60ft range stock converter that's not too shabby it's no PD Blower setup in that regard those are crazy but wouldn't kick it out of bed

I had this same kit, and I cannot see how you'd expect to run 1.4 short times with the stock torque converter and your existing setup. You did 1.60 on a nice cool day, correct? That was Paxton with base pullies, headers, water/methanol injection, and drag pack (referring to way it is)? Mine had Paxton with base pullies and a drag pack and did 1.63 on a warm day for reference.

I've already been in the 1.5 60ft range on incomplete runs that 1.6 wasn't my best 60ft ever. This is close to what low boost stock converter PD Blower setups usually run from what I've seen at the strip (of course they have been quicker also).

I was just saying I think it could be possible but not likely and not trying to break something anyway.

I've got a flex sensor. Previously when tuned on E, they dump ignite E90 in the tank. Could they be weary of tuning on that, and then sending me on my way and I potentially get a shit tank of pump E? Isn't that what the sensor is for? I'd like a mix of E at a minimum to keep the stock pistons alive for a bit.
Its great to hear more positive reviews on this kit, im pumped.

Yes, the flex sensor will allow the ECM to vary the targeted AFR and timing depending on how much E it detects.

Here is my invoice for the 10 rib 2200hd kit from ECS. Around 8500.

I’ll order closer to Black Friday to try and get a deal. This should suport 1000-1100 whp.

I will be on a meth tune as well once it all goes in.

Edit: I will be running 93, smg aux kit and meth lt4 injectors and high side.

Why not the 2200Sl and save a couple hundred on the oil lines?

That’s great question I’ll ask them Monday, is there a distinct advantage one way or the other, other than a couple hundred less on oil lines? Engine that’s going in already has a bung in the oil pan.

It's just less tedious and slightly cheaper. The HD does have a better bearing so it can be spun a little harder. Since you already have a bung in your pan might as well stick to the HD version.

Nice will do. I’ll post the dyno when it’s all wrapped up.

Any feedback from anybody in here on how this kit drives on the street, with minimal supplemental mods and low boost?

I just finished installing my ECS kit. Install is not hard at all. I bought my kit through GPI with my military discount and only paid $5,200 out the door. At a glance the kit looks so good on the car. The intercooler is massive. The filter for the head unit looks like it belongs there with how it’s shaped it also has the heat shield underneath the blower to help with temps. My friend with a 416Ci F1A blower was geeking over the little things the ECS kit has. Issues I had: the blower kit took nearly 4 months when i was told only 8 weeks, the kit was missing a bolt and washer for the pulleys, the brackets for the intercooler needed bending to get on to crash support studs. I’m looking to make around 600 on the dyno. It will have headers, intake and a bunch of meth. I also did LT4 injectors and hpfp. IMO it’s a good buy.
