Agreed 100%. When I hit 1K miles I had Colonial do oil change, diff fluid change, and trans flush to be proactive. Used the wrong grade oil and spilled so much auto fluid that my undercarriage still smoked after 2 hours of driving…! I made an emergency stop at a Valvoline and the nice guy there wiped up the undercarriage so I could make it home to properly clean up…

I then had an LED driving light go out in my headlight which means the whole headlight has to get changed. So back to Colonial it goes. I get it back and they smeared black grease all along my Ceramic White seats and door bolsters.

Never again!

Thanks for the heads up on Quirk. Cerrone in Attleboro and Balise in Warwick, RI is off of my list.

Thank you. I’ll check into that.

Have you otherwise been happy with Colonial South in Dartmouth? Have they been good to your car (no chips, scratches, dents, etc?) other then the loose filter? I'm trying to decide between Colonial & Marty's. Marty's is closer to my home but I drive past Colonial 6 days a week so either is an option for me.

I will say I'm a bit sour on Colonial's sales department. They promised me an allocation back in Feb., never gave me any updates on my '21 2SS order unless I contacted them first, didn't know that the plant had closed for so long or why it had been shut down (chips), and then when I knew my order had been cancelled by GM in June they said that it was still on to be produced. Took them two weeks to refund my deposit. The general manager told me I would receive 2 free oil changes when I finally get my car (ordered from Joe @ Team Becky this time) when I expressed my displeasure...I'm just not sure if I want to take him up on it or just go to Marty's.

No worries about the hijacking. Lol

We all need a solid dealer service center to go to. 👍🏻

Good to know. 👍🏻

I was reading Google reviews for Quirk in Braintree and Muzi in Needham. Both have a similar rating, but Quirk had over 2000 reviews, where Muzi only had about 500 reviews. The problem is that you have to sift through the sales reviews, to look at the service reviews. Now I see that someone took Quirk off of their list, so I’m leaning towards Muzi. Still deciding.

For what it's worth I have switched from Imperial Chevy to Tasca Chevy in Woonsocket R.I. I ordered my car from there and they have service my High Country diesel as well. Smaller operation and I have been satisfied with their work. Imperial is just awful. Every time I got out of there I felt like I had been violated.

Muzi in Needham is out of business unless they moved. Their Ford/ Chevrolet complex at the exit on 128 is being torn down.

They are. I used them for my oil change and inspection sticker this past Summer. They were ok, but service writer said they were closing in a month or two after that. I’ll find another good one I hope.

A lot of dealerships just lost all good techs and techs that even care. I know many techs and the dealers are a joke to them. So many customers have come in for us to check over they're car to find out the dealer did not change the oil, gear fluid ect. Then finding nice scratches ect.

A good, reliable service center and tech is hard to come by. When you find one, you gotta stick with them.

Hi All, new 2022 1SS 1LE owner here in Bridgewater. Bought the car from Imperial and not happy at all. Have to bring it back for them to assess the following items:
1) Lift pads slammed into the lower part of rockers on each side
2) Lift pads placed on the thin stamped metal instead of pinch welds and a small indent was made.
3) When they cleaned the car, a slight scratch in the hood vinyl wrap. Only noticeable in certain light, but its there and a good 2 foot drying scratch.
4) Small scratch around rear lower bumper side turn signal that they said couldn't be buffed out.

Bringing it back to them Weds and hoping to work something out without needing them to touch the car. If they can write up a quote from their body shop and give me a check, I'll find my own shop and get the work done.

How is Marty's in Bourne? Still good to go? Anything else close to Bridgewater?
