Trunk release

Hey just wanted to let you all know, if you haven't neede it yet, but , if you have a power issue or any other problems getting into the trunk of your convertible, there is a key hole, for the key inside your fab at the top left of the rear driver side seat. I needed it over the weekend when 8 forgot to attach the electrical trunk release when swapping my spoiler. What a crap show that was lol. Here's a picture of the spot.

The next question is, did you find the little plastic thingy that you put the key into in order to get leverage on the key to turn the lock?! It helps a lot!

6 Gen family,

I had to use the Manuel key for trunk release but the engraved key broke of. Is there a quick solution instead of going to the dealership for an entire new key remote?

You should've used the Jose key, not the Manuel key

Okay, cringy jokes aside, the physical key and the remote fob are independent, you can get a replacement key made without buying a new fob.
