I don’t think that will do well in a poll compared to A8 shudder though!

I'm supposed to be happy and write it off to GM politics and lawyers?

Fix the god damn software!!!
Where are all of the vendors/tuners out there? How come no tuner/vendor has chimed in with an enthusiastic “yes, we can tune out the torque control/bog issues?” Is it that it is impossible?

From what I have seen it can be improved upon (less intervention), but not COMPLETLY removed. I’ve seen the best timers in the game post about issues on their shop cars at track days....throttle closing, TM etc.

Opportunity knocks for someone to hack! This should be a great project for the computer software geeks out there. Anyone...C’com!

This is just a Team Camaro feature to avoid the ZL1 being featured in Cars and Coffee crashes like the Mustang is infamous for.

Thank you for the answer. Are there any videos or pointers to help us get those times that they recorded. I think many here would appreciate some training on how to use this clutch. Suffice it to say that I have driven everything from a Military Deuce to a '63 Bug, all with a clutch, but Im always willing to learn. Al, said in his response the clutch release was fast, how fast? How about a demo for us. Show us what "significant practice" looks like. Please, teach us the ins and outs of this thing, no sense in us burning out or clutch.

I do appreciate this forum, Thank you, AL.

Whether it was intentional or not it is actually a GENIUS move by Chevy. Build the system to overly protect itself and limit the driver to save on warranty repair costs. Knowing most enthusiasts will do anything to get rid of this bogging/nanny BS by tuning which will then void their warranties and also save their warranty repair costs on those cars. Bravo Chevy, Well played!!!
This. While I think it is awesome that they are doing this and answering people's questions while reading that response that is pretty much how I felt about that answer.

I paid for a quick car, but did not get one. Make it right, Al.
Agreed +1

This will also stymie any plan to possibly run the ZL1 M6 Car in NHRA Stock Class

They need to change the "EXTREME TRACK PACKAGE" to;

"Maybe, IF you can drive like us it MIGHT be close to EXTREME IF you're driving downhill with a Tailwind at Pikes Peak...... "

Grumpy Jenkins is probably turning over in his grave....

This "issue", if we're still calling it that...won't affect lap times around a track in the least.

So what would you call this "issue"?
