2018 camaro SS Super Rich on WOT
Last weekend I dynoed my car Stock 2018 Camaro SS and I noticed the car was running very rich in the high 9s AFR. The car I brought second hand, I assume it has the stock tune. I was just wondering why the ECU is targeting the AFR so rich unless the car was knocking bad, or previous owner tuned the car and I am unaware. Because of this car was way low on power.

What is it doing in closed loop?
WOT is an open loop mode, and fuel map will usually err on the side of rich. But, agree, 9 is too rich. Fuel trims? |

I will probably need to buy the MPVI to do some data logging and see what going on.

Yeah, would want to see if commanded afr is actually that low, or that's just a side effect of say... a mechanical issue or misfire. Codes could have been suppressed if it was "tuned".

Thats's way rich even for COT. I'd guess that the dyno's Wideband was incorrect. But you should also look at Long Term Fuel Trims and see if the car is adding a ton of fuel that carries over into WOT. LTFT's will carry over in to Open Loop WOT mode if they are positive.
