My car was scheduled for 6/27 TPW, but is now looking like 7/11 build week. I hope it still has the plaque.

They are still building LT1s for Camaros at the PBC. So these engines will likely be going into cars built a month from now, approximately. Whether or not they have the plaques I can not say, he was unsure if or when it will terminate.

Oh wait, that's probably precisely why they are stopping the practice...

(Btw, I'm totally kidding, that's all water under the bridge and I'm lookingforward to my 2022 that should arrive any day now).
The majority of LT1s are produced on an assembly line, not hand built. It's very likely yours was if you car is an automatic. So your revenge would proabay have to be against a robot! Also PBC has not been building Camaro LT1s on all Camaros. It began when Bowling Green was switching from C7 to C8 and he said it was to keep them employed. Seems like it started sometime in 2020 and only on the 6speeds, for the most part. Some Autos have been built at PBC.

I keep forgetting that you can get a 1LE with the auto. My car met all the criteria - it was an SS 1LE with the manual, and it was built towards the end of summer in 2020, which I think corresponded with the Corvette change over. I'm guessing the engine was built at PBC, but since I no longer have the car I don't know for sure.

I will certainly check on my 2022. It may show up as early as today, if not it should be in early next week!

Bump to an old thread, just for the fun.

Now that we have the C8 Z06 coming off the assembly lines, do you think there will be anymore Camaro LT1 and LT4 engines built at PEC?

Also, I wonder where my replacement long block is coming from. Mine is a 2019 manual car. Are AT and MT long blocks exactly the same or is there any difference because of AFM?

Send a message via AIM to Fraxum

I wonder if I could send Jennifer the badge on my LT1 M6 and have her add "Happy Birthday Mark" on my badge. She built my car on my Birthday week!
