Ran 3.12 pads with Gyrodisc rotors and did a 1:58.49 at VIR first time there
Yes you do lose area but OEM pads suck compared to consistent braking in a 30 minute session
These 3.12 pads sell out quickly when they're in stock
So if you're not interested in my offer show some manners and stay off my post

Would you guys run DS3.12 only on front with OEM rears pads? Or it is necessary to run DS1.11 on rear to have better brake ballance?

Good question , I had rear DS1.11 with DS3.12 fronts and worked fine
If you go oem rear take your time and see how they feel building heat in them

The "FRP3133" front pad size is for the SS 1LE. The Girodisc upgrade to the ZL1 front rotor does not leave room to straight-up use the actual ZL1 pad shape. You have to slightly modify the pads to make them work. It also can be used in the AP upgrade kits (SS or ZL1 size) I believe.

So these pads fit directly into, and fit perfect to, the SS 1LE 370mm front Brembos. They will also fit into the ZL1 calipers but you lose pad area. And, as mentioned, these work with the ZL1 Girodisc rotor upgrade.

They will probably work OK, but I am not sure that would be a "good" idea looking at the difference in initial friction between the two pads and the fact that the OE pads are pretty heavily divergent in nature and the DS3.12 are progressive. Having a divergent pad at the rear and progressive up front, I think, is not a bad idea on the Camaros, especially the front-heavier ZL1's, but I think the friction difference between the two mentioned pads, coupled with the quick drop in friction over temp and the high compressibility of the rear pads could be a less-than-optimum option.

The factory pads (for those with NEW cars and the BCD-option, disregard this) are the "DS Performance" listed on the graph:

That's a combo I'm thinking to try.
