Well I think it would be more interesting to see if there are other parameters changing as a result. Like the throttle closing etc.

Might open the door to more mods that could slip past warranty stuff; making good power for little money, not requiring a tune at all.

Also if you were open to it, you could just... go back to the stock or further turns. If you went past stock in opposite direction. Then compare logs on TPS and torque management etc.

Gotta tell ya, the nannies are all over the place.
I did some testing in Mexico the other night at 72 degrees.
About 7 runs with 2 mile cool downs at 50 mph.

M6
3rd gear from 3k to 6k RPM.
Checking gauge from ob2 port at 6k. Boost was ALL OVER THE PLACE, Never the same.
Range was from 10.2 to 11.6 PSI.
Did the same test in 2nd gear and the range was 9.9 to 11.1
Sucks

It looks like the boost gauge is reading 1.5 - 2 PSIG higher. I'm shocked. It used to be right on the 10 PSIG line and now it is above it a 1/3 of the way to the next mark.

No shit? That's cool. Hopefully we can get more proven results. Anyone looking to do this mod, PLEASE log before and after or at least take notice of your boost gauge before and after.

I'm imagining a ported TB and this could be an interesting combo... But yeah lets get some logs. Or just again, return the screw to where it was and log both.

Nice.. Mine needed 1/2 a turn. Also installed a Tony Mamo throttle body and an Elite catch can same time. Haven't test driven it yet.

Now if we could just find a screw to turn that would fix the M6 launch issue.....

What the hell? I just realized there were four demarcations on the boost gauge to 15 PSI! That means I over-estimated the increase. Each demarcation is 3.75 PSI (easy to do math at 120 MPH), so I was previously right at the second demarcation = 7.5 PSI. I’m now 1/3 past the second demarcation, so 8.6 PSI.

Yes, on mine I'm 1 mark over the second line which I calculated at 8psi. Same as before moving the screw. I'm also at 7200 elevation tho which I would imagine plays a factor?
