1 cool driver, even scratched his nose a few times. Like others have said I was exhausted after watching!

Nope. The gt350r has no proof of time. But it was on the internet, so it must be true.

Any links? Not questioning you, I'd just like to read/watch it. Thanks

Might be true, but that is an "unofficial" time. the top "official" times are here. Z/28 best official time is 7:37:47

Sorry to disappoint you? I'm going to be real honest, I don't know what you're getting at. This car wasn't designed to cruise the autobahn with a wiggly front end at 200 mph. Downforce means drag. Drag means slower times...

Yet....I'm sure it could reach a faster top speed if there wasn't a bend in it's way on that track.

You know, I watched that video for the third time.....it struck me that the thing never seemed to slow down!!!

It just kept accelerating, and warping corners. No....it's not the fastest car that has ever been produced. But for $62,000....it can lay down performance figures normally associated with cars that cost $150,000 and more!

I can't wait for next summer!!! AHHH!!

Didn't think so. It never ran 7:32, just like the z06 never ran 6:59. At least Chevy was honest enough to say the rumor (that was released at the same time as the gt350r) was made up.

Mustang under delivers, so they just let the made up rumor take flight.

Wow. Pretty cool but nothing like the Z/28 video.

Automatic, no rain - yawn.

What's the deal with the full harness and race seat?

Yep no video. Doubt it even happened. Most guys over "there" are praising the ZL1. One guy over there in denial saying but just wait till the GT500 comes out! Haha I love it. Go GM!

The Corvette ZR1 was a 200+ mph car and it only did 179 on the back stretch on a 7:26 lap by Jim Mero
