I would have swapped this HURST out long ago if so...
I think on my next 5th gen I'll just stick with the factory shifter or go MGW

Factory shifter, while rubbery and long never held me up on a 1-2 shift

Yep shifts like butter. Hurst, they're just changing the shift lever and not the entire assembly. Its just not the greatest set up in my opinion. Hurst is a name long associated with shifts. But they are no longer the head of the curve. They stepped back. Wayyy back

We're concerned that you're not fully satisfied with your Hurst Billet/Plus Short Shifter. Have you checked to ensure that all of the hardware is present and still properly torqued? If/while checking the hardware please also check to make sure that the shifter was correctly installed (see step 16 on the installation instructions for additional details, see below). If both inspections check out then please give us a call at 707-544-4761 and our Support Team will gladly help and file a warranty claim if needed. If you need any assistance you can also PM me as well.

Gotta love when vendors keep an eye on the forums with customer service in mind.
