Gears/Diff question
Noobie question what are people doing to upgrade rear end gears. I have read that the SS diff's are welded onto the carrier. Are ATS V or ZL1 swaps possible?
Are rear gears worth it? |

Swap out the whole diff with another one.
Or get a geforce 9" conversion and have a limitless selection of gears

Not sure how much gear you want, but going to a 26" rear tire will give you a better effective rear ratio.

While the limited options regarding rear gears for our cars is frustrating, at least the OEM diffs appears to be very robust. I can't recall hearing of any failures. As I'm soon to be pushing 725 ish wheel hp, this is encouraging!
