5th Gen Automatic Shifter Boot
Hello all, just thought I would reach out to see options for an automatic shifter boot. I have ordered the CFD shifter adapter and will be putting on a Hurst T-Handle. I have seen lots of people put the shift boot from a manual trans which does look decent, however I was thinkin of putting a rubber boot to try and give it that old school touch. Would like to see some photos of either set-up and how/what is needed to do both, part numbers help also. Thank you

I just did the Manual Shift for the Inferno Orange
Fits with some Modifications

I did the manual shift boot install as well and it was a very straight forward easy switch. I picked up the manual boot off eBay for $50.00. It came with the shifter knob but I simply cut the ziptie off and used a new one to secure the boot to my Hurst shifter.

I don't have any pictures of the shifter in a car but here's the T-handle fitted to the adapter in matte black and the boot.

Here's mine with the yellow stitching. My OCD will have me line up the boot seams if possible. Remember to leave a note if anyone is going to work on it other than yourself although you really shouldn't have to.

Here's mine with a carbon fiber knob. I really want to get a Hurst T handle. The guy that built mine made it so I can use any M12x1.25 knob if I want to change it. Shaft is a little dusty, but it cleans up beautifully.
