Say you do match the resistance from the airbags in your OEM seats, now remember when the car senses a passenger greater than 50-60 lbs it will arm the passenger airbags thus without the passenger weight sensor, in a collision the airbags will not go off because it doesn't know there's a passenger there. The weight sensor attaches to the car's airbag plug underneath the seat as well. It's a complex system that all work as a unit essentially. |
