Once you remove the OEM seats, the airbag light will turn on when you start the car. No way around that unless you match the resistance from the OEM seats.

Say you do match the resistance from the airbags in your OEM seats, now remember when the car senses a passenger greater than 50-60 lbs it will arm the passenger airbags thus without the passenger weight sensor, in a collision the airbags will not go off because it doesn't know there's a passenger there.

The weight sensor attaches to the car's airbag plug underneath the seat as well. It's a complex system that all work as a unit essentially.

OH understood, so this ONLY applies to the passenger seat. I may have to take some time to come to a decision on this one. Very rarely do I ever ride with a passenger. But thank you!
