Looks to me like we could've had a bit more trunk room than they gave us...not sure what is on the passenger side:

WOW lots going on back there. Trunk space in a sport car is way over rated.

Ok, I immediately take everything I complained about back after seeing KMPrenger's pics. There's no real way to cleanly re- engineer around that. Looks like it's way more complicated back there than on the 5th gen.

Is that half-circle metal bit the wheel well? It seems to be much more intrusive into he trunk space. So much so that I'm second-guessing what it is pretty badly.

What is the white item in the bottom left with diagonal lines? It looks like an amp? Is that where they placed the stereo's amp?

It's an amp with a heat sink.

Thank you. I actually asked the same question to the dealer when I test drove a 2SS and he told me it was for the Magnetic Ride! Funny thing was the car I test drove didn't even have Magnetic Ride. Once I heard his answer, I just dropped the subject since he basically proved he didn't know much about the car!

The other side is pretty much the battery and the cables coming off it. no room to do anything. That's why i did't take pics of that side. plenty of room on the drivers. currently building a speaker box and relocating the black box you see in the pic.

I never use a trunk except for spray detailer cloths and a cooler for beer!

I don't travel much, but I travel heavy...and I like to drive. I used to pack every square inch of my '13's trunk, so it looks like I'm overflowing into the cabin on my next trip. (If my car ever gets home from Michigan...)
