S0J (LPO, Hood Louvres)?

So the new new order guide listed the following as a new option as of today.

Exterior section-Added (S0J) LPO, Hood louvers. It is "A/D1" on 1SS and 2SS with a footnote 1 that reads "Requires
exterior color (G7C) Red Hot, (GAN) Silver Ice Metallic, (GAZ) Summit White or (GD1) Hyper Blue Metallic."

Anyone have any idea what this is?

Agreed, that's what I would assume.

considering there's specific color requirements for this option, i would guess it's body colored hood vents too

Could be, should have just named it "Painted Hood Louvers". I wonder why they limited the option to just the 4 colors then?

They excluded yellow, garnet red, mosaic black, black, nightfall grey and blue velvet.... i would think they excluded the darker colors because the hood vents painted standard black will blend in..... but i'm not sure why they excluded yellow and garnet red...

Body color hood vents?yikes!!!that would give the car an awful plastic look.they should offer a silver or chrome vent option so guys with dark colors can choose.or maybe a no vents option for those who like the LT hood

Silver or chrome would look disgusting on any color. I'm not a fan of body color either because I like the contrast, but chrome? No thanks. They offered the body color vents on the c7 for 2016 and I think it looks better in black.

Yeah these look much better black. Body color would not look good at all IMO.

HOOD LOUVERS!?

I just checked out the updates for this week on the camaro order guide and noticed they have a LPO code for hood louvers. Has anyone else noticed this? And are these already what we've been seeing in the current pics?

They could just be body-colored hood louvers compared to the black ones that come stock.
