Factory installed parts are the same. Nothing is perfectly aligned. Really hard to notice, unless you point it out........

Thanks to the body shop fixing up my car, splitter lines up perfectly on both sides. They did drill their own "alternative" hole into the bottom on both sides to achieve this.

This is the kind of result I got from my $200 cheap ass ZL1 side skirts that I installed myself, surprised it happened with an OEM part at a dealership, OP ask the dealership body shop to fix it in a nice manner, I had some weird panel gaps on the back fender and the dealership fixed it for free because I asked nicely, otherwise go to another dealership, there isn't a shortage of them and you have some leverage on them being OEM parts.

Interesting. That is a sweet ride. I like the red! I'm going to post a couple of pics of my offset.

Kinda sucks if you ask me, but not the end of the world.

If it weren't for the rivets and the double sided tape, I'd suggest that you tweak the bolts a bit to adjust it left to right, but not if those are in place, since you'd probably just make it worse in the end (not knocking your abilities, you may well be experienced with body panels for all I know, but these are a b**ch to work with...).

Just replaced mine with an aftermarket one, holy hell that was a bitch to get off too.

For those who wonder why those high dollar custom shops get paid the high dollars for doing stuff, this is why. A shop like that would spend the extra hour to file out the mounting holes and get it perfect, or tell you the part is no good and refuse to install it.
It’s all what you are willing to accept and pay for.
I’d be fine with what you have, even more so if it was equal on both sides.

When replacing my splitter, I followed the advice of Glen_E and used braided fishing line to "saw" through the adhesive. The rivets are the easy part.
