Please help with my 2015 camaro LS
Ok I’ve finally resulted in making a post. I have a 2015 camaro LS v6. I’ve had it since 62000 it rest now at 84,000. The codes I am pulling are po430 and p2099.
I’ve completely went back to stock intake as for I had a ingen CAI. Now it’s completely stock. Prior to the po430 code I had po15b po15d po2097 which I fixed all and cleared. Now recently driving home a month ago my car seemed like it had a heavy misfire and it showed service stability track check engine light flashing and the car seemed to lock up and wouldn’t go above 40mph or 2rpm. When this happened i scanned the car for codes and got po430 p2099 po300 It’s been that way ever since stuck in limp mode if I push to hard it it’ll flash the check engine light. I am stuck with codes po430 p2099 in limp mode :( I just need my car back :( |

It don’t come easy.

Check the condition of the battery. Lots of problems occur with a bad battery. Might not be related but, worth the check.

Id assume its your catalytic converter. Id replace your cat and o2 sensors.
With what your saying i assume its a clogged cat

I’ve had the better checked multiple times and it always shows a healthy battery. @0stones0
As for the cat that’s what the dealer told me and they also told me that they couldn’t further diagnose because of the CAI and that may be the reason I’m in limp mode lol. So I returned it to stock and it’s still in the same condition. Clogged cat? I did run cata clean when this happen and also I changed both downstream sensors also put extender same result. Tuesday I am going to have it diagnosed by a repair shop that fits my budget plus I just don’t trust the dealer anymore. What should they check for sure o2 readings while driving. @camaroDreams76 |

Could be a few things, to pin point it you will need to scan it and see why its not controlling the fuel. Most likely a bad MAF or like said a blocked cat.

Sounds to me like the drivers side cat is bad or the O2 sensor for bank two is bad.
V6 cars have bank two on drivers side IIRC.

My vote is O2 sensor(s) based on those three codes.
I would be very surprised if it was the cat as the car is pretty young w/ less than 100k miles. |

The MAF Sensor was replac and the CAI was taken off back to stock. I also cleaned my throttle body 1 month ago when this happen. Tuesday I’ll be taking it into a shop for further diagnosing. They pretty much are gonna check fuel delivery and trims and o2 readings with the car on (live data). @paulsSS

Another big symptom I’ve taken note of is seeing the oil pressure get to as loa as 0.7 on the dash at idle. Isn’t that low as hell? When driving it operates good… rides the rpm needle for the most part. only at idle or gets super low like 0.7 I’ve seen.

If it’s not the battery then it has to be a sensor.
