Superchargers!!!

I've been on the fence about installing a blower on my 6th gen. I am a blower addict to be truthful. I run a Vortech on my race car and I have installed over a hundred of all different kinds myself here at Tick. We have been doing our cam testing with the car and testing all the bolt on parts we can in order to get some real information to give to our customers. So I'm really done with the testing I guess... Even with its current 530hp, it feels like it needs lots more lol. I am thinking that I want to go with the Edelbrock 2650 E force kit, or maybe the Whipple. But no blower kit is cheap at the end of the day.

What if Tick was to offer some kind of group deal or Black Friday deal on supercharger kits? I know it is a big ticket item, but if we could round up enough people we could all save some money on them?

What do you guys think? Anyone else wanting to go blower?

I thought the car was for sale? Fwiw WeaponX has done group buys in the past on Whipple.

I am interested in a Whipple kit but I’d hate to buy one and in month or two find out the 2.9 has been replaced with an updated 3.0 version offered with a giant throttle body and more efficient rotor pack as they have recently done for the Ford guys

I read about that. 700whp on a stock 10speed '18 mustang with these new blowers.

Yes, it's for sale. But if I can't get anyone to buy it I might as well do what I want to it lol.

I really don't know if they are coming with it any time soon. I have not been informed if so. However, if you really only want 700 ish hp like me. There is no reason to get a blower of that size.

The current Whipple supports well more than that on our cars, so aside from "new hotness", you won't miss it if you don't have it.

The limiting factor on the LT1 is fuel, and then rotating assembly, not the Whipple. The Whipple will push as much air as we want it to.

I don't know, it all depends on what supercharger brand and kit people want. We sell Vortech, Procharger, Whipple, Edelbrock, and Magnuson.

yes thats a given and have been discussed countless of times in these threads. So do you have an inside on Whipple releasing an improved blower or not?

I've got NA specials all the time. We sell about three or four MSD manifold and 95mm throttle bodies per week. We also offer Ported heads. They are not on our website, but we do offer them. We have cam kits, headers, all the bolt on parts. We have it all!!!
