Ran over a can of spray paint

Hi guys, so a couple of days ago i ran over a can of white spray paint. It exploded and got all over the bottom of the car and some on the Rims. I have the 20" 5-spoke, split, premium Gray-painted, machined-face, aluminum wheels and i was wondering if anyone knows how to get the paint of the them ?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Only thing I can think of is some paint thinner but I'd try a little on a spot where it can't be seen to make sure it doesn't mess stuff up.

Mineral spirits maybe?

Check with a detailer.

Check with a paint store the deals in auto paints. Did you retrieve the can? Take it in also

The sooner the better to get it off.

I remember flying over a huge cross-street road crown in my '73 charger as a kid. Upon impact we heard a hissing noise, then the cloud, then the smell. A can of orange spray paint had wedged with the spray nozzle depressed somehow under the front seat. What a mess!

The can was already in the car in the back seat floor right? Otherwise, he must have had a rotted out floor pan for the can to jump up off the road and get wedged inside lol!

Yes it was on the back seat floor probably with a pile of other car stuff that helped create the disaster. Floorpans weren't too bad on that car, but there were others we drove around WI that were in a condition that would blow the mind of today's youth.

Man that is terrible. I don't know how your insurance company's work in the USA but I would call them and find out if this is covered or not and the cost associated with it.
Other than that I would defiantly stay away from paint thinner. Even if you test one area it may damage in another. I had something similar happen to me on an Audi S6!
