How many speeding tickets have you gotten?
Just got a ticket for going 75 in a 60. My classmates were passing and honking (lol) anyway this made me think. How many tickets have you guys gotten if any and how fast were you going?

In my lifetime Ive probly had at least 20 or so. Im 46 now and havent had one in a few years so figure in approx 25 years I had the 20 or so. On one occasion i got more than one ticket, careless driving and speeding. But that was looong ago.
Never lost my license or anything but came close once with 14 points on my license, I went down to Rahway state prison and took a safty course and had a bunch scrubbed off. And no Im not proud of the tickets either its just how it goes when your always driving fast cars in a heavily patrolled state like this one.

3 in my life, zero in the last 10 years. Always try to keep it to 8-9 mph over the speed limit.

2 when I was 18 the first month I got my license.
Then a few months later I got arrested for reckless driving going 111mph in my Sierra because some girl called me at 3am to "hang out." I was in Indiana and she was in Chicago so I zoomed over there not seeing the cop at the u-turn because it was so dark. Sad to say, I didn't make that appointment. But I'm 21 now and I haven't had any tickets going on 3 years now. |

Since I have owned my Camaro 0.....lifetime 7 or so all for speeding except one red light. None for the last three years and hope to keep it that way.

I got two speeding tickets 40 years ago. 35 in a 15 and 70 in a 65.
None since. |

The cop never asked for my registration or insurance. Does that mean it won't come up on my insurance things. That probably didn't make sense. I'm 17 and this is my first ticket and needless to say I haven't told my parents yet

Only 1, and it was a time when I wasn't even really speeding...had the car on cruise control driving home from cali late at night so wasn't paying attention for cops...last time I ever use cruise control lol
