My Xpel installer stated that my Gen 6 was the absolute hardest car he has ever put a clear bra on, and he has done some higher end cars prior. Not sure what you paid OP, but at least your paint is protected. I do agree that the hood cuts need to be more clean.

I paid an extra $45 to have him overlap the seams, so the only edge you can see is halfway up the hood.

I'm living with it as it was free and it is protecting the paint.
Yes this car has a very challenging front end to clear-bra. Mine was done by Speed Shield and they primarily do very high end luxury cars. They keep the car over-night so the temp of the car and clear-bra material is the same temp. You pay for what you get, pay for a cheap job, you get bad installation. Full front $2,200, full rocker doors $850, rear splash $200. They used Prestige Film Technologies, http://prestige-films.com/index.shtml, they also used this same type of material for the UV film applied to the inside of my windshield.

Check out this website http://prestige-films.com/index.shtml.
This is the website of the installers http://www.speedshieldusa.com/

I would show pictures of the work done, but the nature of clear-bra and installation, nothing to see.

you WILL have lines as in most cases they are pre-cut. but if they were a good installer, the lines should match up where you hardly notice they are there. However, it does look like they used a razor blade or they cut the film while on your car and that's is a NO NO in my book. you have to understand also, (this has no relivance) but our bumpers are one of the most difficult bumpers to do. Hence why they have it in 3 (or should) sections.

Clear bra

I had clear view pro installed and while there are 4 total pieces my installer who is one of the best window tinters did let me know of this before hand so I wasn't shocked that there were seams. Only a couple small bubbles that over time seem to be evaporating. All in all for what I paid and the fact my paint is protected from luv bugs and these crazy dump truck drivers slinging rocks I'll deal with the seams.

EMTNLSS, if your installer used pre-cut he has a really bad plotter. You can see where the needle was wiggling off axis on some of those cuts. On a pre-cut, every edge should be straight and corners should be smooth -- that is the point of using a plotter.

I'm curious if these companies supplying the templates to installers are forgetting to smooth and then oversize their master images. When I worked with vinyl graphics (way back in the 90's), a cut like that would've never touched a vehicle.

I talked to the shop last week and brought in the car today. They redid both fenders and the drivers mirror. It's 99.5% flawless. I love it and am very happy. There is one spot on the driver fender where short hair got in that is really noticeable to me, but I'm not going to dwell on it. Great shop, very happy!

I have Suntek on my car and it is perfect. Installer makes all the difference in the world. My installer wrapped the 2 lambos that will be in the Dr. strange movie.

Talk to your installer and ask questions. Really good installers will wrap around edges wherever possible, leaving no seams in these areas. They also will leave no bubbles or lint underneath it.

There will be some areas where it cannot be wrapped, but the edges should be smooth and even if done properly.

Ask to see some of the cars they have done, and how long they have been installing clear bra's. It may cost a little more for a quality job, but in this case, you'll get what you pay for.
