Mobil Transmission Fluid for A8's

What is the name/number for the Mobil transmission fluid for the second flush? Want to purchase if I need to top off my son's 2017? Have had no shudder since 2nd flush about 15k ago, but have noticed a couple of hard shifts when going from 1st to 2nd at very low speeds (ex. going through parking lot at idle speed giving virtually no gas). Thanks.

Its this with the BLUE label:https://www.amazon.com/Mobil-124715-...evrolet+Camaro

Also, there is a TSB for 2017 Camaro's for a software update for the transmission that will nearly eliminate the hard shift. Had mine updated and no more 1st to 2nd hard shift.

My a10 has been doing exactly this after getting it back from the dealer after a trans fix! I had same issue occurring in high gears but now it’s just occasionally the 1-2 at LOW RPMs in low speed city driving. Like tf? I’m irritated with the dealer that did the work so am hesitant to find who I take it to next..

taylorforschool, my son's 3.6, A8, RS was a leftover 2017 that we bought new after 2018's were out. Transferred from AR to West Point dealer to get color we wanted. I noticed the shutter on drive home but thought it was bad roads. Learned about the shutter on this site. Carried to Tupelo dealer but 1st flush did not help. Second flush with new fluid, no shutter 15k later. Tupelo staff super professional and nice. Calling them next week about hard shift at low speeds/TSB and will post what they say. BTW I have a 79 vette L48 turbo 350 three sp and have owned since 87. Have put about 100k on it and never changed transmission fluid. Just kept adding when low for past 35 years. Shifts like a dream. Guess chevy should have stayed with 3 speed autos and 4 speed manuals!

I have noticed there seems to be almost no other members matching my complaints on this a10, which makes me feel even crazier sometimes.. but I do know how this car drove when I first purchased and how my LT1 always shifted and there are just a lot of things from the factory that GM could of done better on this transmission. And the fact that I have had warranty work done already and they basically gave it back to me at about 80%… hard to keep hanging on to this warranty unless I find a trustworthy dealer service wise that isn’t hours away

My neighbors 2019 ZL1 was doing it. I pulled the negative side of the battery off for a few minutes and reconnected. Hard 1-2 shift went away. Because the transmission needs to relearn his driving habits again. Told him about your car and having the valave body replaced under warranty but dealership in Arab can't get him in for over a month. Good luck with your ride.

Thanks d, service tech who received my car this morning said it won’t get looked at for 2 weeks. Obviously I’m at the mercy of them for their warranty work. At this point I just want my car back and it to work right.. don’t even really care how long it takes I’m so disappointed

My hard shifts were fixed with a new valve body.

They replaced my valve body a month ago, it replaced the hard shifts at higher gears but now the issue appears solely during 1-2

I feel your pain buddy. It took them 2 weeks to replace my rear diff and drivers side axel. I have several friends that work there they are just plum full up with big warranty stuff. Sorry bud.

I sure hope it’s from a lack of good available work and not because Chevys are breaking so fast the dealers can’t keep up
