Mobil 1 0W-40 ESP Available?

Anyone find 0W-40 ESP in a 5 qt jug in a box store yet? I'm due for a change soon and all I can find is litre bottles here.

One of my 2 local dealers had a couple cases of the the 1L bottles. Grabbed 11 of them. Not cheap but got tired of the online store canceling orders. I pad $11.50/L.

Haven’t seen any jugs.

Yep. I tried to buy some from one of the online GM parts stores. They supposedly had it in stock, but then couldn’t find it even though their inventory showed they had it. They also told me that they are unable to get it from GM at this point, so they’ve been sourcing it from some third party distributor.

I ended up getting a 12 liter case from eBay. Worked out to something like $10.80 a liter with shipping. I bet it’ll be a while until we see 5 quart jugs at places like O’Reilly or Walmart.

I took the new oil bulletin to my dealer & told them to order the 0w-40 esp for my last free oil change which they did...they ordered several cases & had them stacked by the front door when I went in last Friday.

Their price is $16.50ea!!

I haven’t seen any around me yet, ended sticking with the 5W-30 on my last oil change. Haven’t checked any of the dealers nearby though.

I doubt it. Right now on line they only show the 0w40 ESP Delvac diesel truck oil, euro oil, and the regular 5w30 dexos oils.

Well, I'm going to go ahead and help you guys out by getting a case from ebay. That way it is sure to show up in 5 qt jugs in the box stores for $25 by Saturday.

It’s not in 5 qt jugs yet and I doubt it will be offered until GM makes it more recommended which I doubt they will.
