Key Stuck in Ignition

Occasionally my key will get stuck in the ignition when I turn the car off. Switching back to the On position (not restarting) and rowing through the auto transmission shifter will eventually free it up. Based on some searches, this is a common problem with the 2014 model with the usual fix being to replace the shift mechanism.

Since my car is still under warranty (was a certified used purchase), I want to get it fixed; however, since it doesn’t happen always, I am trying to avoid the “couldn’t reproduce the problem” response.

Has anyone had this issue fixed? Is there a TSB on this issue such that the dealer will know of the problem and just go ahead and address it based on me saying I am having this issue? Or do I need to tell them to keep trying it until the key finally sticks?

Hads same problem in 15..they just switched shifter. If its a reputable place they should know about the issue or at least be able to look it up. No charge by the way. Good as new.
