I was looking to but a new intake I was wondering what would be the best option for me to get to get the best air flow for the engine and overall performance

You asking about cold air intake or intake manifold?

Edit: Ahh, see you have a V6, so I assume you mean cold air. My bad...carry on.

Save your money, the 3hp you might get is not worth the 400 dollar you will spend

Do some cosmetic mods like wheels, spoiler , grill, tail lights , tint , headlights, fog lights,

There is not power to be gained on the v6 beside supercharger or turbo

I would agree, unless you plan on doing other power mods for the V6. It is a good 'supporting' mod, but on it's own it really will offer little benefit except for that nice intake whoosh sound.

But honestly, if this was me...I would ignore everyone and get the intake lol.

Are you auto or manual? You should be just fine with a ZL1 wheel fitment wise. I don't know if the paddles work with the auto version for the V6 though. I went with the leather ZL1 version instead of the alcantara for reduced wear. You just need to get one with an airbag. I had to buy mine separately, which cost more but that's all I could find at the time.

For the Cold air...

Well, CAI makes some of the best out there. But they are expensive. K&N is ok too (entire CAI kit, or drop in), I would ignore the haters on that. I have heard to stay away from Injen due to possibility of hydrolock from water intake. Rotofab is one of the most trusted names as well.

Some of the V6 guys will chime in and will be much better experienced with this than me though. I have no idea how an untuned LLT of LFX behave with a CAI.

A new oem style filter yes, a k&n style no , do not need to waste money on over priced filter that will let in more dirt and lower compression over time. I'm not trying to say never do performance mods to the v6 , it's just single number horse power gains are not worth the money. Saving up and getting a turbo kit or supercharger kit that will give you 100hp+ gains are worth every dollar spent tho

Untell then I feel doing cosmetic mods will deliver more bang for the buck and not feel like money wasted on very very low power gains

Geeze, I didn't even consider Vararam and that's what I run in mine. I didn't know they also had a V6 version.
