2012 SS suspension
What is everyone’s go to suspension for there SS? My car has 76k miles on it and planning to start upgrading it. Was thinking with starting with front and rear struts and springs and want to keep around stock ride height or maybe .5” shorter. Would 2012 1LE bolt right in? No kids needed? Or what aftermarket company would you go with?
Will be then replacing sway bars to bigger ones , trailing arms and front control arms |

I Replaced with Z28 parts except for shocks. I used Bilstein for the shocks.

What are your intentions? Street car? Racing/track? Drag?

FYI, with your year/mileage you are going to want new strut mounts and donut isolator thingies. Mine were pretty much all shot.
I went with 1LE shocks/struts, and a ZL1 rear sway, along with some other 1LE/BMR parts.

I kept it simple and cheap and went with the 1LE suspension with the exception of the front bar. Inexpensive and proven.

I think the 1le didn’t come out until 13.but depending on your cars usage, that’s the 1le would be an improvement, I have coilovers and a few BMR parts it definitely helps.

Call and speak to DynoSteve. (RDP) He asked me the objective for my car and then recommended a set of KW coilovers. Cost me about $1500 and I couldn't be more happy with the ride.
