From Buffalo/Rochester area.

Hello from Western NY! I recently became the proud father of a low mileage black 2010 2SS. This is my first time owning a Camaro though I go back quite a ways with them. My first time driving a standard was on a close friend '84 many moons ago. Subsequently, I have owned only standards since then and am hoping to bring my wife to the dark side shortly as she is recently showing an interest in learning.

I have no immediate plans for performance upgrades, maybe just some simple stuff in the near future, CAI, cats, that sorta thing. I am just coming off of a supercharged Cavalier that was my tinker toy that I really enjoyed tuning, a sad day laying to rest. Needless to say the performance difference between the two, I think, will be enough to keep the tinkering itch away for a while.

The only immediate plans I have are a few cosmeticy type things, black out the tails, tint, dash ambient lighting, maybe RGB LED for the ambient lighting source. I gotta figure out what to do with the headlights too. I went from projectors back to halogens and although these halogens are decent, projectors have a nice cosmetic vibe. The price on RS lights made me choke on my bagel so I think I will be looking at a retrofit and adding halo's at the same time (anyone done this themselves and care to share a build link?). I do have an amp and pair of 10" Kicker's that I would like to install, don't really know where to drop the amp in though. I loose a good bit of trunk room to my work bags and my boys hockey equipment. Those little pockets behind the rear tires are going to be nice for the subs I think.

All that being said, I guess I will give you what you came for....

Very nice looking ride! Being I also once lived in the Buffalo, Tonawanda area and was subject to some extreme blizzards I do hope you have a garage for the winters!

Welcome to the Forum!

CONGRATS on the ride, and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5/6. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wives', husbands, girlfriends and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome!!

Welcome, you should check into the Sub.thump harness that lets you add an amp to the boston accoustic system and just throw your speakers on it, so easy I did it in an hour, look up where the amp is and there are probably walk throughs on here as well

Welcome to the Forum!
Thankfully most of the heavy Lake Erie non-sense typically misses me but the garage is a must. I have to clean it out now so I can fit 2 cars in there, wife wants a winter home for her Charger too. She was really unhappy with me having her keep it outside last winter, another winter like that and I might turn up "missing".
