Instrumental display logo question
Is there a way to change the logo on the initial startup? Mine currently has the chevy bowtie, I saw a video of a ZL1 with the Camaro badge on the dispaly when he went to start it up..

You have a 1LT V6 correct? So I think you have the base instrument cluster, which has just a speedometer, tach, fuel, and temp gauge. With a basic information center in the middle. That has the bowtie flash upon startup.
The 2LT with technology package, as well as all SS and ZL1 models, have the up-level instrument cluster that has an analog speedometer and tach, and then a full color display for the information center containing fuel, oil pressure, volt meter, and water temp. It also has a myriad of other display and graphic options. With this cluster you get the Camaro badge logo upon startup.

Yea mine has the RPM, MPH, temp & gas gauge. Ahhh gotcha thanks! I was hoping my info display would have the logo feature. I can still toggle a few things, battery, coolant temp, trans temp, speed. |

Omg if you could program a new start screen that would be awesome. I wish there was an icon at the bottom indicating what gear the automatic was in so when I take manual control I knew better what to expect. Or double the speed limit icon. Or add the 4-cylinder indicator so I can quickly switch to v8 before going wot.
Where are the programmers in here. I have an aftermarket stereo in my 2014 that has a custom start up animation and background among other things. There’s a hacker community dedicated to reprogramming Pioneer firmware. Is it not possible to modify the dash software? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

No, there are tiny icons on your screen at the bottom no matter what page your looking at while driving. I cannot see if I am in V4 mode unless I am on one of like 3 pages (and there are like 20 pages to view wile driving). See how 1 page says V8 and the other does not. And no gear info unless I’m in manual mode. It just says D while driving. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Right, so like I said, your gauges have all that. Just put it into the mode to see it, and theoretically you only really need to know what gear you’re in if you’re in manual mode anyway.

I did download the SDK for the infotainment in my car and played with it, in the hope of creating a native Torque app counterpart, but it was almost unusably limited. GM basically only allowed you to create new "apps" selectable from the center screen, with extremely limited access to just a few trivial vehicle parameters. Though I haven't checked, it's unlikely they would've made it more accessible in the new 3.0 version that came out in 2019. All is not lost though, there are people like Chris White (https://www.whiteautoandmedia.com/) who can do any custom programming for our GM platforms, feel free to hit him up. It's going to cost a pretty penny, developers who know what they're doing are expensive.

Hello,
I have a 2020 Blazer UHS Info3 speedometer (it's basically the same hardware in other GM (Global A) models and only the outer casing changes) and I'm doing tests (to finally install it on my Astra K) and the boot screen with the camaro logo is on the speedometer firmware, but I can't find the combination for it to appear. Only for test the camaro logo.... the opel logo works fine. Do you know in which models and years the Camaro logo appears when opening and closing the door?
