Should I trade in?
I have a 2011 2SS Bumblebee Camaro - 48k miles
Has some minor paint issues (specs/road rash) Probably needs new tires in 1-2 years (have 20k on them right now) Brakes probably need to be changed, I hear some squeeling when I stop There's a squeeking noise around 45MPH as I posted about on another thread. I found a 2015 2SS (black/red stripes) with 11k miles for 26k. Dealership wants to give me 16k for my current car. What would you do? should I fix up the current issues or bite the bullet and get a new toy for an extra 11k~ ?

Keep the current and no monthly payment.

If your current car is paid off i'd keep it. Fix the minor issues you have and go about your day. Id rather save the 11k and spend it on my current car, or put it into something else.

I have one more payment left, so its definitely has been paid.
The dealership is pushing pretty hard but they wont budge on the price of the 2015 =/

My 2010 L99 with 65K miles when I bought it was $19,200 (8 months ago). That was the least expensive I could find unless I went super high miles or found a total dog. Keep your car man. If you are that intent on trading up, REALLY trade up and get a 1LE or ZL1. That is the only way i would do it. In summary: GET A 1LE OR ZL1 !!!

I would keep it. I just paid mine off on XMas. Great feeling having no car payments and a modded camaro ready to go anytime.

For 11k to move up to "what I believe" is a better car is a no brainier to me... I have been through enough in the last year and half to now know life is short, live it the best you can... Just sayin'

He is already paid off (almost), the difference is 11K. For that he is getting a nearly brand new 5th GEN, warranty, and all the bugs worked out from earlier models such as my 2010. Also, there were suspension upgrades and also newer features (HUD) added in the later models. Damn, this would be a hard decision for me.

My opinion like infid3vil, don't trade sideways SS for SS, if your gonna trade up go to zl1 at least. 2011-2015 slightly different grill and tail lights, and some creature comforts with mylink and stuff, but basically the same LS3.

Will I be able to trade it in 2-3 years? What will the value you be? I work from home, I drive for date nights/some trips and I put on an outstanding 10K miles per year. More than likely I will buy a bike or a junker to do errands so I dont make my camaro a daily driver again. Just wanted to get your input

Agree with others. I'd only trade up in models, not in years.

I'm not wholesomely familiar with the 1LE --- is that Limited Edition? how does that rate against 2SS?

I would trade it in while you can still get that much for it, if you are even thinking about it.
BAM! 2 cents
